Focus : Listening and Speaking Topic: My Favorite Toys
Theme : World of Knowledge
Learning Standards : 1.1.3, 1.1.4
Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
a) Listen and say aloud and recite the rhymes with guidance
b) Do simple transactions
Activities:
i. Teacher asks pupils what type of toys they have.Teacher shows pictures of ;

boat
robot

teddy bear
ii) Pupils tell their friends types of toys they have at home.
iii) Teacher praises pupils for being attentive.
v) Pupils will recite the rhyme together with the teacher.
vi) Teacher shows cards for price tag - RM5, RM10, RM20.(teacher will prepare as many price tags to stimulate pupils entrepreneurship element as stated in KSSR CCE)
Pupils even doing transaction by using fake money and simple English to converse.
- "How much is the price?"
- "It is RM10 for a doll" etc.
vii) Pupils are divided into 6 small group. They will act as customer and seller.
viii) Teacher will observe and help them to asks and give answers using simple English.
ix) Teacher reminds pupils to bring their own toys tomorrow for education purpose.

Teaching Aids : Toys, price tags, tables, LCD, laptop.
Assessment : Observation
Reflection: Strength - Pupils enjoy the lesson and able doing the simple transactions. It helps them in simple mathematical problem solving.
Weakness - For those who were still learning but slow feel a bit bored because they can't understand the instructions well.
60% of pupils enjoy the lesson and they love to play with fake money. 40% of pupils needed enrichment.

Focus: Reading Topic: My Favorite Toys
Theme : World of Knowledge
Learning Standard : 2.3.1 (a)
Objective: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
- read simple texts with Teacher's guidance
Activities :
i) Teacher asks pupils whether they have brought their toys.
ii) Pupils anxiously show off their toys to their teacher and friends.
iii) Teacher calms the pupils as the will start the lesson. Pupils were divided into four groups -
a) type b) color c) size d) adjective
doll red small pretty

teddy bear white big puffy

robot yellow small hard

iv) Teacher holds one of the pupils toy and say the simple sentences repeatedly. Teacher writes a few examples on the white board :
- This is Reyna's small, pretty, red doll.
- This is Hansen's small, hard yellow robot.
v) Teacher drills and pupils read the sentences using different groups of words.
vi) Teacher stick sentence strips on the white board and pupils read it.
vii) Pupils voluntarily went to the front choose the sentence strips and stick it on the white board the class will read

Reflections : Strength - Pupils able to read simple sentences by using sentence strips.
Weakness - Pupils easily loose attention because they can't read well.
50% pupils are able to read simple sentences and 50 % pupils needed guidance and enrichment.
Day: Wednesday
Focus : Writing Topic: My Favorite Toy
Theme: World of knowledge
Learning Standard: 3.2.2
Objective: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to :
- write 3 - 5 word correctly with guidance
Activities:
i) Teacher introduces the Ghost Train Game. Each person in each row gets a letter card or more.
(in the end will end up with word teddy bear, doll, robot, train)
The teacher gives a card and a pencil to the last person in each row. He/she writes the letter on the back of the person in front of him/her. This process will continue till the first person, who then will writes the answer on the board. After that, the card and the pencil will go back to the last person in the row to continue with the process until the last person who is holding the last card writes it on the board.
ii) Every pupils will have their chances to write.
iii) Pupils then are given activity paper each to write 3 sentences guided.
iv) Pupils write the activity neatly.
v) Teacher guides the pupils to write the sentences.

- This is my b i g , w h i t e teddy bear
vi) Teacher and pupils sing the song they have learnt.
Assessment : Writing
Reflections : Strength - Pupils able to complete the activity correctly.
Weakness - The activity given were all the same. It only suits the lower level pupils and I should have provided challenging activity for the other groups.
80% pupils able to complete the activity correctly and 20 % pupils needed enrichment.
